The last few months have been a dust storm; the way forward often obscured by the density and intensity of the rapidly developing crisis. Dinnertime just seems to pop outta nowhere these days-  It’s like intellectually I know it’s coming, but I’m always somewhat strangely surprised when the moment actually arrives.  Reminds me of my kids’ loose teeth.. they’d be fussing with them for days, grossing their siblings out, yanking and pulling and suddenly it was in their hand…and…

Remember Sunday drives? Back in the day, before 24/7 cable TV, families would get into their cars on Sunday and go for drives..aimless drives.. just to look at life outside of the neighborhood. There were no stops to shop, or even to fill up the car, because everything (at least in Germany) was closed on…
