Summer “must-haves”

The “linen pant” is back with a vengeance and the timing couldn’t be better! These easy-to-wear, breezy slacks are the perfect bridge back into public life after a year hangin’ out at home in pandemic pajama bottoms.

And don’t think you need to break the bank at Nordstrom to snag a pair, sales abound at Old Navy, Macys and other shops..they are literally available everywhere!

My daughter, home for a visit last week, borrowed several pair of my new linen-blend pants and wore them almost every day to the beaches, hotel, shopping, touring and out to dinner. Most aren’t wrinkle free, but the occasional crinkle almost compliments their non-pretentious, casual look making them absolutely perfect for travel.

Needless to say, she ordered herself a few online and they were waiting at her door when she got back home.

Check them out!

My week-end read is pure summer escapism.. I don’t know about you, but I need a break from the news.. 🥴

See ya Monday!

RIGHT?? I’m NEVER “in!!” I am so grateful for these pants..my one daughter is trying to keep a surgical scar out of the sun and my other is just super sensitive to sun..so these pants are a GOD SEND for them! Macy’s sale was unreal..I got three pants..one black and white with elephants..super cute and a bit dressier..the others are very wide leg palazzo style with stripes..had to hem half the fabric away- HAHA! All of them 50% off, so around 14.99..better deal than Old Navy..plus first time in about 5 years I’ve been INSIDE a MACY’S..was pleasantly surprised.
