Faith in numbers..

It’s Dec 1st- can you believe it?

24 days until Christmas.

2020 has been a year full of numbers, hasn’t it?

Countdown to the election,

14 day quarantines,

( is it 10 now?)

positivity rates,

pounds gained,

money spent,

money lost,

votes counted..

and

recounted.

(It’s Dec 1st- can you believe it? What happened to fall? )

How many vaccines will there be?

How many beds are available?

How many are allowed home for the holidays,

in an elevator,

inside a restaurant,

playing outside

standing in line,

how close?

(It’s Dec 1st – can you believe it? What happened to summer?)

2020 has been a year of seeking:

security,

peace

and

deliverance

in the numbers.

How many in the senate?

How many in the House?

How many people had (or will have) side effects?

(It’s December 1st- can you believe it? What happened to spring?)

Are you still counting?

Are you still searching for hope in ever changing calculations, projections and best guesstimates?

Where is your faith today after all of these months?

Is it still in numbers?
