The best time to shop in 2020 is the moment you see what you want. Inventory issues persist, not to mention many stores are sadly going out of business.. (or look like they might at any minute.)
This is a photo I took yesterday at Bed, Bath and Beyond. (I know… 😳) All I can say is if you need another set of matching sheets for your bedroom set, don’t wait. 😕
Since today is PRIME DAY on AMAZON, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite, recent purchases:
So the only thing that makes me mad is that this coffee maker is $20 cheaper (right now) than when I bought it, but hey..other than that I’m in love. When I wake up in the morning, the first words out of my mouth while still in bed are “Alexa, coffee on.” By the time I get my feet on the ground and come back from letting my dog out, the house smells like freshly brewed coffee. What can I say, I love not having to wait!

And speaking of mornings..for those who hate getting up to the jarring sound of an alarm, a wake up light may be an interesting option. I bought this for my daughter for her birthday, and she said she loves the thing. I did all the research – so you don’t have to- this Philips version gives you the most bang for your buck and has lots of good reviews.
Since we are inching into snuggle season… (snuggle at your own risk of course) I recommend these zippered beauties. My mom, who is stuck in a wheelchair after a fall, loves these morning coats for their softness and how easy they are to take on and off. Mom is also pretty tiny, so short robes are perfect for her.
The patterns are also fun.
If you prefer longer robes, I HIGHLY recommend these. Inexpensive, but SO incredibly snugly, I’m on my second one (taupe)..just because I live (AND COOK) in the first. (white-😳)
Finally, and yes..back in the day this would have embarrassed me terribly.. I HIGHLY recommend this pricey puppy stroller. Our poor Havanese was diagnosed with luxating patellas and couldn’t handle our long, fast paced, morning walks. The thought of leaving her home seemed silly, so we swallowed our pride, did our research and bought this beauty. It is an absolute champ- such a smooth ride.. our dog loves it and so do we..she walks about 50% of the route and rides the rest.
Not gonna lie, we have gotten a few looks. I told the neighbors we regularly run into that they each had one chance to make fun of us and then that was it. 😂 Honestly, the worst comment we got was that we looked “adorable.” My husband’s a Navy guy, so don’t think that didn’t hurt.. but he’s a team player and we are both just so glad we can still take our beloved Daisy on walks.

HAPPY SHOPPING!!

I’m keeping an eye on the kitchenaid pasta attachment. That’s my goal

Well if you ever get that you need to let me know how it works and share a good recipe for pasta. I never owned a Kitchen Aid mixer..I had an old Sunbeam that I actually got rid of during one of my Kondo-purges.

I love my kitchenaid. Use it at least a few times a week. I’m loving the idea of fresh pasta, so will keep you informed
