When the macro vision of the world gets depressing I twist the knob and take a moment to “go micro” and find the precious and beautiful things I admit I can take for granted.
I remember the feeling I had slicing up our last tomato just a few weeks ago. Back then I was way too afraid to buy more raw veggies because there were so many unanswered questions about this pandemic and how it spread. I wondered when we would ever enjoy fresh produce again.
Well, here we are not that much later enjoying a veritable fireworks show of colorful and delicious fruits and vegetables. Thank God we are heading into summer..and thank God for hard working farmers who continue to quietly coax life sustaining food from the earth!
