Shock the Monkey- (The price we pay watching media that profits from chaos.)

We are living in an age where most of us would NEVER purchase products tested on animals.. and yet many (most?) of us are supporting media that are giddily testing the limits of our collective mental health.  This morning I saw an article that compared Covid statistics in counties that voted for Trump vs. counties that voted for Hillary.

Yes Sir, one more PHD from the University of Fahrvergnügen seems to have found an outlet willing to post yet another anxiety producing, provocative report. For the love of everything that’s good and holy, I have truly had enough!

I am challenging the media (all of it) to reflect upon the damage they are inflicting every single day on the world’s collective psyche.

EVERY PSA I see from India to the US states LIMITING EXPOSURE TO MEDIA is a crucial step towards better mental health.

I am challenging all of us to reflect upon our own role in the dispersion of chaos and doom and our support of a reckless media bent on stoking fear and division. Are we willing participants, useful tools? There’s power in every click – use it for good today.

I’m not sure we can make them change their ways..but we can change ours and refuse to engage..click..read..forward..”like”.. argue in the comments section which is nothing more than a press-provided boxing ring for those who have been provoked by their articles.
