Holiday Hits and Misses

Welcome to my post holiday de-brief.

Let’s start with the holiday hits… Best gifts – in no particular order:

This robe is pure luxury. I consider myself a bit of a robe aficionado, a morning coat snob if you will, and this little piece of heaven is the perfect weight, heft and length..and for real, look at that price..

I know, I know..this thing is probably listening to me argue with my husband..

Too bad, I love it.

It’s about $80 on Amazon right now- I saw it for much less on cyber Monday so wait for a sale if you can.

I first saw this washcloth at the Marriott in Baltimore last month and was like “why on earth didn’t I think of this??” I mean sure, who cares about the stack of disgustingly stained washcloths I keep under my own sink..but having nice, white washcloths on hand for guests has always been a problem. I’m not kidding when I tell you I usually run out to TJ MAXX to buy a new stack every time people come to visit.

Well, no more.

My sister bought my husband and me and our dog matching, Hanna Anderson Christmas PJS. Not only are they adorable, but Hanna Anderson has always made the softest  pajamas in town. (She’s having a huge sale right now too) I’d show you a picture of the three of us..but why bother, my new Alexa (above) is probably circulating them on the dark web right now anyway. 😉

Tomorrow: More holiday hits..

I love robes too, and it was funny because as I put on my robe this morning I felt great. Funny the little things that make your day

I have always been a “morning coat” girl..years ago I had a white one with butterflies on it and I washed it so many times (because I cooked wearing it..) that the butterflies were almost completely gone by the mom said they flew away! HAHA..That was a well loved robe..👍
