Ugh, he was so mad. His Oakleys were missing and he had no idea where he had put, left or dropped them. “I never want another pair of expensive sunglasses again!” he growled.
Heck I don’t want him to have another expensive pair either. This certainly isn’t the first time he’s lost track of them in the ten years he’s owned them. But he was on the road for work this week, so this truly might have been the final goodbye.
I actually feel bad for men.
As much as I hate lugging my purse around, can you imagine not having one for all your necessities? Guys meanwhile have to stuff everything they own into their shirt and pant pockets. Wallet, sun glasses, reading glasses, keys, pen, notepad and my guy needs two cell phones..it all has to go somewhere! My husband’s job also requires travel and walking around so carrying a brief case or computer bag all day is simply out of the question.
There is a glimmer of hope though. He doesn’t know it yet, but after no small amount of time online last night, I stumbled across a possible solution: the shoulder sling. (REI-$40)
Notice they picked a model with tattoos and a tribal earring and dressed him in lumber-jack flannel to hammer home the fact that this is NOT a girly man purse!
Will the strap on this thing wrinkle my husband’s dress shirts too much? Will my guy even go for this half-backpack? I have no idea.. but I figure it’s worth a try.
At least it’s not one of these, remember them?
Although according to the WSJ, fanny packs are actually coming back in style..because the problem is real..with no good answer in sight.. what’s a man to do with all his stuff?

It just makes sense for men to have something to put their stuff in. I don’t know about you but I get a little tired of being the pack mule. If hubby has too much to fit in his pocket I invariably get asked to stow it in my purse. And I hate carrying a purse too but the stuff has to go somewhere.

The funny thing is I recently went through all of my husband’s work pants and gave away the ones that were too baggy. His new pants look amazing on him, but he said now the problem is he can’t fit as much stuff in the pockets..HAHA..can’t win.
