I can describe some of my favorite Super Bowl TV ads from last week-end, but for most of them I can’t remember what products they were advertising. I guess that means they were not in fact good ads- right?
Meanwhile, Turbotax is stalking my life with it’s “free, free, free, free, free” ad campaign. I can’t turn on the TV, or watch one video online, without being forced to first sit through another iteration of those annoying advertisements where the only word they use is “free.” These ads are so incredibly irritating, you can’t help but pay attention..and you sure DO remember the product they are peddling.
So is that what makes a good ad?
There was a video online this morning of a lost baby otter being reunited with its mother. I didn’t click on it because by then I had already sat through two “free, free, free, free, free” ads and I figured another was coming.
No baby otter fuzzy-cuteness for me! 😡
Hurry up April 15 because I can’t take these Turbotax ads anymore.
