Strength

Finally got back to the gym.

It’s been so long I actually forgot how to properly use the lock on the locker door and had to ask for help after I messed up the sequence and locked myself out. 😕 So much for seamlessly merging back into my routine..

As I looked around at all of the trim and trained bodies, I began to doubt that I have what it takes to ever attain such a high level of fitness.. (youth being the main missing ingredient.)

And then I remembered this quote above and reminded myself that while I may lack certain natural assets and abilities, what I can tap into is persistence. Persistence can lead me to the doorstep of my goals, it just requires a bit more time, dedication and belief in the cause.

At 56, I definitely have a cause, do you?
