Don’t you hate it when you’re checking out from a shopping site online and you have no coupon code to apply?
Well, those days are over because I downloaded the “honey” extension to my lap-top. Maybe I’m late to the game and everyone already uses stuff like this, but I didn’t know it existed until I read an article recently about ways to save money when shopping online.
Honey pops up when you are browsing as a little icon, letting you know if there are coupons available. When you click on the icon, it will roll out the codes and you can choose which one to use. Honey will also alert you if the item you are looking at is available for less on another site and what its price history is. If you think your item will go on sale again later, you can request that honey send you an e-mail to alert you when that price reduction occurs.
All I know is that this little app or “extension” has already come in handy. I saved 20% on my candy order from Savannah’s Candy Kitchen and my daughter saved $90 on a new, Michael Kors jacket. How sweet is that?
