“Hey, up here..”

But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head. Psalm 3:3

Sometimes when a child is in a miserable state, you will see a parent calmly put their hand under their chin to lift their gaze to meet theirs. The gesture is an attempt to get the child to focus on the parent, calm down, feel loved and protected and listen more carefully to what is being said.

God will do the same. He will lift your gaze off the trying circumstances of your life and help you to calm down, refocus on Him and gain a greater perspective.

His word and His love can change your day.

He can change your life.

I love this image. Refocus visually and in our heart. How are you? I haven’t heard much from you lately.

It’s been a little overwhelming..dropping my youngest off at college followed by the move, temporary living quarters, buying a TH that needs work…Haven’t had a lot of time to write or read…😕
