Message from the mountain top-Colossians 1:16-17

My husband and I took a hike into the mountains this past Saturday.

The air was cold and pure and with each breath, I could feel myself being repaired.

Unplugging from all the election negativity and controversy was cathartic and cleansing.

I gratefully inhaled the healing.

Nature has a way of putting us in our place; creating context for our lives..revealing our blessed insignificance in the twist of time and eternity.

I came down from the mountain with renewed hope, refreshed faith and reinvigorated resolve.

Colossians 1:16-17- For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him.  He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

In Him all things hold together.

  1. I live in New Delhi, capital of India. I really don’t remember when i breathed fresh air last time. The air here is just so polluted. Even all the schools were shut down for 3 days last week.

      1. Yes we have a festival called diwali. People burst a lot of crackers in the diwali week. It made things worse
