Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work:
If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!
There are times when my husband and I are literally humming as a couple.
I don’t mean sitting in a car singing to the radio, I mean harmoniously working together – effectively and efficiently getting stuff done. We replaced 8 recessed lights with LEDs in mere minutes yesterday. He’d hand me the old bulb and case, I’d unpack and hand him the new one, he’d install, move the ladder, I’d crush the box and wipe and store the old bulb.
(As an aside, the super bright, LED recessed lights are about $20 each (Amazon) and COMPLETELY worth the money! The crisp white light is so sharp, it makes it much easier to see- esp. in the kitchen. We always add a dimmer switch so we can “bring it down” when needed.)
We also began demo work on a shower.
At one point, the hubster accidentally shattered the glass from a door piece, but together we were able to clean it up in no time..and the work continued.
Don’t get me wrong, we have our moments..
but when we are of one mind,
working towards one goal,
intentionally trying to be helpful to each other..
