Proverbs 16:3

Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.

So for the first time, I feel led to comment on today’s scripture. I have been going through this strange, long (very long) period of uncertainty and while I am trying to remain patient and flexible, there are times I am desperate for clarity..direction..a path forward..a plan.  This “treading water” month after month has been an exercise in faith and frustration… and like any difficult work-out,  it has pushed me to the limit.

But I am building spiritual muscle..and that is always a good thing- maybe it’s really the MAIN thing- a prerequisite of sorts to be completed before I can move on to whatever is next. Like the verse states above, step #1 is committing my life to the Lord and this is a daily dedication I make before my feet hit the ground. I want God to set my GPS – I trust Him and I am willing to wait for Him to “establish my plans.”
