Living in Florida, I forgot how uniquely beautiful and full of promise Spring is. Turning over damp, matted earth that’s been dormant under months of snow and ice is nothing short of a spiritual exercise. Squirrels watch every move of my spade, searching intently for freshly unearthed delicacies. Robins hop from branch to branch, hoping for a wayward worm to wriggle free. White, yellow and purple crocus bully their way through lasagna like layers of dead leaves …a preview of the main event that’s soon to follow.
This is the busy reward for those who have endured the long, sleepy winter.
SAVE THE DATE…Spring is coming!
Song of Solomon 2:12 Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land.
