Doesn’t get easier than this- and just in time for the chilly weather! Your house will smell like grandma’s!
- 1 (3-4 lb) Chuck roast
- 1 envelope Good Season’s Italian dressing mix
- 1 12 0z bottle of beer (not light beer if you can help it)
Pour beer into crock pot, add envelope of seasoning and mix together. Add roast, cover with lid..cook on low all day. **If you want to make it extra yummy, you can brown the meat first.
When the roast is done, pull it apart with forks and remove the fat. (I do not use the juices in crock pot as they are too fatty for my taste-BUT-you can cool the juices in fridge, skim the fat off when congealed, strain and use what’s left to create a wonderful gravy.)
Pair with veggies, mashed potatoes, corn muffins or rolls. YUM!
